This weekend will see the return of over 100 revving classic and performance cars in Bradford.

Bradford’s Classic & Performance show, taking place in Bradford’s City Park on 16 August, will host up to over 150 eye-catching vehicles including 15 Group B rally cars.

Countless car owners have signed up to take part and local sponsors Autoelectro will also be bringing in a number of stylish cars to the event.

Cars will be on display between 10am and 4pm and there will be live music as well as street entertainment.

Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s portfolio holder for employment, skills and culture, said: “The Classic & Performance car show always pulls in the crowds to City Park and this year’s line-up suggests that the cars on display will not disappoint.”

Planning has already begun for next year’s event, which will bring together some of the rarest world rally cars together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bradford’s car show.

Over 100 classic rally cars will illustrate the history of world rallying by recreating one of the Cartel rally stages held in Bradford in 1987.

Bradford’s Classic & Performance 2015 event will be staged in Bradford’s Bowling Park on 16 August.
