Two 18-year-olds dead after crashing car in Manningham, Bradford

Two teens have been killed following a fatal road traffic collision on Manningham Lane, Bradford.

On 4 November, a red Honda Civic was travelling along Manningham Lane towards Keighley at around 7.35pm, when it mounted the kerb and struck a bollard on the pavement and the corner of a building on Hamilton Street.

The occupants of the Civic, two 18-year-old males from the BD9 area, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A man and a woman, both aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.

No pedestrians were reported hurt or injured.

Enquiries into the incident are continuing and Police are appealing for information.

Sergeant Ann Drury, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said: “We believe the Honda was involved in an incident with a Silver Audi A4 in the moments leading up to the collision, so we would appeal for anyone who witnessed this or the movements of other vehicles prior to it contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team by calling 01924 293047 or 101.”
