Baroness Warsi visits Bradford to mark opening of new Tory office

Iftikhar Ahmed Candidate Office Ribbon Cutting

Conservative member of the House of Lords, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, has visited Bradford for the opening of a new Tory campaign office in Bradford East.

A ribbon-cutting took place at the St Johns Centre on Fagley Road in conjunction with an event to announce Iftikhar Ahmed’s parliamentary prospects for the next general election.

Iftikhar, who has been raised and educated in Bradford, will be fighting the Bradford East seat for the Conservative party.

He said: “The launch of my office is an effort by a group of people who have been instrumental in mounting a campaign to win back some place for Conservative thinking in this city.

“And it has been a privilege to have Baroness Warsi with us.”
