Man suffers serious injuries after collision on Leeds Road, Bradford

Police are attending a serious road traffic collision in Leeds Road this afternoon.

The collision, which involved a car and a mobility scooter is believed to have occurred at just after 12.40pm today, close to the junction of Thornbury Avenue.

The male rider of the mobility scooter suffered serious injuries in the collision.

The occupants of the car are believed to have left the scene.

Leeds Road has been closed off between Garibaldi Street and the junction with Killinghall Road. Motorists are advised to avoid the area at this time while the collision is investigated.

Enquiries are continuing into this collision and anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101.
