A prankster who goes by the name of Speedo Shy has visited Bradford to share happiness, by starting pillow fights with random strangers.

Real name Shayan Shayegani, Speedo hails from Kent, is a university student and pranks for a hobby.

He came down to the city of Bradford to start pillow fights and get some reactions from the public.

He told the Yorkshire Standard: “I chose the pillow fight prank as I thought Bradford needed some entertainment by the sound of it, to show some positivity to the world, and to prove people have a sense of humour no matter where they live.

“So I thought that particular prank would be perfect for the place.”

He threw a pillow at random strangers and began an onslaught of ‘pillowing’. In one case, some people looked as though they were ready to fight back and not with the pillow.

But Speedo commented: “I didn’t feel nervous about pillowing people but I was nervous about it being a fail and no-one would fight back, because I was trying to get a message across.”

Speedo has made more videos in Bradford. In one video, he asks strangers whether they want “a piece of me-at?”, where some mistakenly think he’s asking for a fight.

He said: “There are much more pranks, public experiments and good deeds coming so this is just the beginning for Speedo.”
