A plane trying to land at Leeds Bradford Airport was forced to abort the landing due to strong windy weather.

The British Airways flight from Heathrow attempted to land but had to divert to Manchester, where it landed safely.

Leeds Bradford Airport is the highest in England and experienced wind speeds of up to 60 mph (96 kph) earlier.

Passengers had their flights disrupted by strong windy conditions and coaches were drafted in to transport them to alternative airports.

Another video was recorded by a passenger inside a different plane as it landed at the same airport.
