Alan Marcon, 32, from Pontefract strut his stuff in front of 30 single women on the show and had 17 ladies leaving on their light for him after he came down the love lift.

He picked Kirsty S from Cheshire by the end of the rounds.

At the Isle of Fernando’s, Kirsty said she didn’t fancy him and there wasn’t going to be a second date, whilst Alan thought there was chemistry between the two.

Alan, who runs his own heating company, is the second contestant from Pontefract to appear in the latest series after hairdresser Nick Knight was reunited with his ex.

As the current series of the show came to an end on 7 March, host Paddy McGuinness said thanks to the lads who faced the “flirty thirty”.
