Teen, 14, charged over Bradford teacher stabbing

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of cannabis following an incident at Dixons Kings Academy in Bradford.

At around 8.55am yesterday, police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending a report of a member of staff having been stabbed at Dixons Kings Academy in Bradford.

Supply teacher Vincent Uzomah, 50, was taken to hospital for treatment to a stab wound to his body.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due before Bradford Youth Remand Court tomorrow.
