Dog Reunited Bradford

The owners of a fragile dog who went missing couldn’t describe their happiness when their beloved pet returned home.

The border collie cross named Lady went missing on 23 December from Heysham Drive in the Holme Wood area of Bradford.

Lady Missing Dog Bradford21 years of age, fully blind and partially deaf, Lady’s owners feared for her safety and appealed for her safe return.

With the help of social media and dedicated dog owners online, their appeals were shared across the UK.

Lady was found three days after she went missing and was in a poor condition.

She was found in the local area by a man who spotted her as he walked along the street.

He returned her nearly two weeks later after he found out about the appeal.

Lady’s owner, Joanne Puttock, said: “A little old man was walking home and came across a little ginger dog who looked poorly so he took her in. He got in contact after he saw the appeals.

“I can’t describe the happiness. We missed Lady that much.”

Ms Puttock had Lady for over 20 years.
