TOWIE star Billie Faiers calls Yorkshire ladies to ‘bare their bumps’

Billie Faiers Bump

The Only Way Is Essex star, Billie Faiers, is ‘baring her bump’ in support of the British Heart Foundation’s Fight For Every Heartbeat campaign about inherited heart conditions.

Ms Faiers, an ambassador for the charity, is calling on other ladies across the county to ‘bare their bumps’ with her to raise awareness.

She recently met 49 pregnant ladies in London, and said: “We bared our bumps to highlight the 50/50 chance that someone with an inherited heart condition has of passing it on to their unborn child, emphasising the need for more research into these potentially deadly conditions.

“I’m calling on all pregnant women in Yorkshire and the Humber to #BareYourBump in support of the campaign and share their photographs on social media.”

Countless photos have already been uploaded on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Inherited heart conditions are heart conditions that are often passed on through families, because of a single faulty gene. They can span generations, and someone living with an inherited heart condition has a 50/50 chance of passing it onto their children.

It is estimated that 50,000 people in Yorkshire and the Humber could be living with a faulty gene putting them at a high risk of developing heart disease.
