Zombies to chase joggers out of their skins in charity fun run
EXCLUSIVE: The evil dead will be out in their hordes in a few weeks time to chase the living in Huddersfield’s Beaumont Park.
This year’s Huddersfield State of Decay 5k fun-run has been announced by the Huddersfield Pendragon Round Table, who will hold the event in aid of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
The event, which will be held on 10 May, will also host a fun-run for younger runners, with less aggressive “sympathetic” zombies and a shorter course.

It was only last year when the first-ever event was held.
Over 200 people had registered to take part, making their way down into Dungeon Wood through wooded areas, gateways, tunnels and open parkland.
Waiting for them were zombies, attempting to snatch the tags that were attached to the runners.
Prizes will be available for those who manage to ‘survive’ the run.
