Button Mash 8 – A celebration of gaming in Yorkshire

Button Mash 8 Bradford

Gaming returns to the New Bradford Playhouse this Saturday 19 April with Button Mash 8.

A one-day celebration of video gaming and geek culture, the team responsible for such classics as Button Mash 1 through Button Mash 7 will be once more filling the venue with geekery both new and old, classic and eclectic.

Games from throughout the years will be available for all to enjoy, including a room dedicated to Rock Band, set up on a stage for the authentic rockstar experience.

The event will see an overhaul in the tabletop gaming area, providing classic board games such as Settlers of Catan alongside more modern alternative titles like Cards Against Humanity.

The Mash-Up gaming tournament promises once more to be an entertaining experience for all concerned. Free to enter for all attendees, eight contestants will face off across three rounds of the most unusual competitive games around with a trophy available for the victor.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favourite game character (or film/comic/TV/whatever) with prizes available for those who participate and another trophy for the best costume.

The event will begin at 3pm and will run till late.

Entry price will be on a pay-what-you-want basis, with additional prizes for those who beat the average.
