Fieldtrip festival to take over Addingham Moor this August

Fieldtrip Festival Todd Terry

American DJ and producer Todd Terry is one of the headliners

Over 100 artists and groups will take stage at a music event looking to make a breakthrough into the festival scene.

The Fieldtrip festival will take place at Addingham Moor in Ilkley, with a line-up set to include American house legend Todd Terry, the Dub Pistols, and local hero Darius Syrossian all headlining with support from acts such as Prosumer, Ben UFO, Boddika and a whole heap more.

Organisers of the festival originally took inspiration from their world festival travels, and decided to bring something back to West Yorkshire.

They told the Yorkshire Standard: “The line-up is only the start of this festival and we are looking for it to be more than just a music festival. We want it to be a experience something people won’t forget.”

Live and electronic music will be spread across seven specially designed arenas with a capacity of 1,500 people, each arena having its own environment through the weekend.

There will be street food and stalls, live comedy, kamikaze karaoke, mud wrestling, rap battles, a secret cinema, and local ales from Yorkshire breweries.

The Fieldtrip festival will take place from 15 August to 17 August.
