If you have a short community notice to promote, please email [email protected] with your notice. Please add ‘Community notice’ in the subject line.

We do not publish advertorial content on our noticeboard.

Enquiries, corrections and feedback

We are open to any enquiries you may have, whether it be in the form of a question or whether an amendment needs to be made in a story.

We are also grateful for any feedback that may help us improve our website for the future.

Would you like to be a contributing reporter?

Do you have what it takes to be a news reporter? Do you have great ideas that you want to share? Are you passionate about your local area?

The Yorkshire Standard is committed to get people involved and is calling on all budding writers, reporters and journalists to contribute.

Even if you would prefer to write only about news in your area, or only want to focus on a particular section, such as music or cricket, then you are more than welcome to do so!

All regular contributors are credited in every story they write.

They have their own bio box (along with a picture of themselves) underneath every story they write, and an archive page that lists all their stories.
