Boy, 12, reports being inappropriately touched on 549 bus
Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a sexual assault on the 549 bus heading to Brighouse.
The incident took place on 27 October at 4.55pm on-board the 549 bus service from Huddersfield to Brighouse.
A 12-year-old boy reported he was inappropriately touched by a male on the back seat of the bus.
The victim then reported the incident to the driver who stopped in Hipperholme and ordered the man to get out of the bus. The victim believes they later saw the man at Brighouse Bus Station.
Calderdale CID would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man in the image or has information about the incident.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity or was witness to the events on the bus is asked to call Calderdale CID on 101. Information can also be passed to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
UPDATE: A man has been arrested and is in custody. We have removed the appeal photo from the site upon request (05.11.14).
