According to John, they were actually trying to save people.

The 46 year-old transport worker described how the staff at the Bellevue hotel lined up to prevent killer gunman Seifeddine Rezgui from going into the hotel after he opened fire.

He also explained following press reports.

According to John, people formed a line and shouted: “We won’t let you through! You’ll have to go through us!”

The shooter turned and walked away.
