Scars on 45 to return to its Bradford roots for special reception
Scars on 45 are to be given a civic reception in their home city in recognition of their musical achievements.
The alt rock/pop band, whose members all hail from Bradford, have been invited for a special reception and a tour at Bradford’s City Hall on 9 January hosted by the Lord Mayor of Bradford.
Scars on 45 consists of singer and guitarist Danny Bemrose, singer Aimee Driver, keyboard player David ‘Nova’ Nowakowski and Chris Durling on the drums.
The four-piece have had success in the US, with songs featured on the hit TV shows CSI: New York and Grey’s Anatomy.
They have also had a television debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
They are currently touring the US promoting their new album ‘Safety In Numbers’, which is being released on Nettwerk Records in the UK on 23 February 2015.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Cllr Mike Gibbons, said: “We have some amazing talent in Bradford and it is a privilege for me to be able to recognise their achievements by inviting these musicians to City Hall.”
