Car plows into stationary vehicles in Bradford, occupants sought

EXCLUSIVE: A car collided with three parked vehicles parked in the Barkerend area of Bradford this morning.

Police were called to Barkerend Road at 1.49am, but the occupants of the car had left the scene before the police had arrived.

Local residents believe the car was speeding.

A resident from the area, who requested to be anonymous, said: “Many people did hear a loud bang. People are sick of hearing about speeding or reckless drivers, people obviously don’t realise that people’s lives are at risk.”

Enquiries ongoing

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed: “Police were called to Barkerend Road, Bradford at about 1.49am this morning to a report a car had been in collision with three stationary vehicles.

“The occupants of the car had left the scene prior to police arrival and enquiries remain ongoing into the incident today.”
