Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho referred Bradford as ‘Barnsley’ after the Bantams defeated his side in the FA Cup fourth round.

The confusion took place after City shocked Chelsea by an historic 4-2 victory yesterday.

Mourinho said in a press interview: “The priority was the FA Cup and the fact that we didn’t play with our best team or our best players is not a way to say we didn’t carry the competition. We did carry the competition.

“Is there any player in Barnsley… How do you say? No, their team? Bradford.”

Mourinho had to be corrected by a member of the crew.

City are the second English team in history to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
