Jason returns on Friday the 13th for Mortal Kombat X
NetherRealm Studios has revealed Jason Voorhees is included in the contents of the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack.
The horror icon, best known for his appearance in Friday the 13th, was announced coincidentally, today on Friday the 13th.
The character will be given to anyone who purchases the Kombat Pack, which will include access to four playable characters still in development, as well as costume content.
The four characters include Jason Voorhees, two Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants, another special guest character and three new character skins – Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana – as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character.
NetherRealm Studios also recently revealed that there will be over 100 brutalities in the game.
Mortal Kombat X will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on 14 April.
